Usually electrical shocks occur from faulty appliances and leakages in the power circuit which is why electrical testing and tagging is such a valuable precautionary measure. The purpose of testing & tagging is to detect the un-observable faults that won't be found by visual inspection. This ensures correct standards of personal safety in the workplace/job site are met in accordance with AS/NZS 3760:2010.
